Being the President must be pretty nice. Not that we don't love our jobs here at BMW of Anchorage, but you know what we mean. Get to the live in The White House for four years (or eight if you play your cards right), every kid in the country wants to be you when they grow up and you get escorted around in some of the finest vehicles out there. Needless to say, it's not a bad gig, but there's a lot that comes with it, too.

After all, if there's ever anyone who could use an added dose of security on their day-to-day, it's the Commander in Chief. Well in an effort to do just that, our favorite automaker took to the drawing board.

What they came up with was the BMW Concept X5 Security Plus which was recently unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

While it may not have "Secret Service Vehicle" written all over it, this concept embraces a more practical styling thanks to its resemblance to the 2013 BMW X5 CUV. But don't let that fool you, because this deceptive beauty can roll with the best of them.

That's because if you peel back the paint, you'll find high-performance steel body panels, high-strength steel moldings and sealed joints holding this tank together. As for the windows, those are made out of polycarbonate-coated security glass. Throw in 450 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, and you're all set.

Still no word on if and when the President will add this number to his security detail, but since it can easily withstand fire from an AK-47, we think he'd be crazy not to. Until then, feel free to learn more about all it will have to offer if and when it ever comes to our dealership here in Anchorage, AK. We've only scratched the surface.
