The 2 Series is a fairly recent addition to the new BMW lineup and in just a short time, the coupe has earned a solid fan base. For this reason, the BMW brand has decided to expand the 2 Series lineup to include a convertible variant, which will debut next month.
Instead of making us impatiently wait for the model's reveal, the Bavarian automaker has teased us with a rather informative look at the 2 Series convertible, which we've shared below.
The convertible variant will feature the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the coupe. This robust engine has the ability to produce 240 horsepower alongside 255 lb.-ft. of torque while zipping from zero-to-sixty in 5.7 seconds.
