How far would you go to restore the car of your dreams?  Helmut Schlosser of Germany was willing to put in over 1700 hours of restoration to bring the legendary BMW 303 back to life. With the rev of the engine; however, all of his time spent hunting down specific parts and researching the vehicle became wholly worth it.  Schlosser is the proud owner of the first car built in Eisenach with a six cylinder engine and the first model to sport the iconic BMW kidney grille.  Check out the video below to see how one man's dream came to life due to passion and dedication inspired by the Ultimate Driving Machine.

Restoring a rare pre-war BMW for over 10 years was Schlosser's story.  Here at BMW of Anchorage, we would love to hear yours.  Join the conversation on social media by using #BMWstories and then come check out our current new and pre-owned inventory.  While times may have changed since the 303, the adventurous spirit of BMW remains the same.
