Yesterday, BMW announced the all-new 2017 ALPINA B7 xDrive due to debut in the United States in the fall. Offering "precision dynamics, effortless performance and comfort at the highest level," it is the third generation of ALPINA models based on the 7 Series.
The aggressive yet elegant exterior aesthetic is complemented by a luxurious and feature-packed interior. With a 2-axle air suspension system, Dynamic Camper Control, and Active Comfort Drive, the ALPINA B7 xDrive offers sharpened agility and handling, while maintaining long-distance cruising comfort. The whole package is set in motion by a highly assertive 4.4-liter 8-cylinder twin-turbo charging engine that is capable of 600 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The tremendous power output rockets the ALPINA B7 xDrive from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, and enables a preliminary top speed figure of 193 mph.
The exciting new ALPINA B7 xDrive begins arriving in showrooms in September, with MSRP details to be announced closer to launch.
