No doubt one of the most exciting releases in recent memory, the all-new 2016 BMW M2 is a purpose-built sports coupe with a seemingly insatiable need for speed.
And it also just so happens to be a favorite of AutoGuide.com Features Editor Sami Haj-Assaad. Check out his evaluation of the M2 in the clip below:
As you likely can imagine, the M2's headlining attraction is its turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine. Producing a hulking 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque, the M2 is offered with your choice of either a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed automated manual (DCT).
We'd admittedly be remiss if we didn't also mention its 0-to-60 mph sprint time, though. Able to do the deed in a flat-out hair-raising 4.1 seconds, the M2 moves with authority.
If you'd like to meet this pint-sized powerhouse "in the metal," or wish to put one through its paces on the open road, we encourage you to pay us a visit at our Anchorage, AK location. Upon your stopover, we'll be sure to set you up with a test drive in the M2, or any other BMW model that's ensnared your attention.
