Since we're already on a roll when it comes to big debuts from of our favorite automaker, we here at BMW of Anchorage thought we'd keep this gravy train rolling right along. Because now that we're just a few months away from the 2014 North American International Auto Show, BMW is giving us a lot to get excited about.

As much as we're enjoying fall and looking forward to winter, summer was awfully kind of us here at BMW of Anchorage. After all, when the weather's right and the sun is out, you really can't beat a good old-fashioned test drive behind the wheel of a 2013 BMW Z4 Convertible. But alas, the time has come to put up the hoods and let these topless four-wheelers hibernate until spring.

Being the President must be pretty nice. Not that we don't love our jobs here at BMW of Anchorage, but you know what we mean. Get to the live in The White House for four years (or eight if you play your cards right), every kid in the country wants to be you when they grow up and you get escorted around in some of the finest vehicles out there. Needless to say, it's not a bad gig, but there's a lot that comes with it, too.

A couple months ago, we here at BMW of Anchorage told you all about what a good first half of the year our favorite automaker had. It was a cause for celebration alright, but now that we're well into September, it's high time we updated you on how the second half has been coming along. And as our August sales numbers will clearly show, things have been going pretty well to say the least.

In case you haven't heard, we are less than two weeks away from the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. As excited as we are about it, we can't help but look to the future here at BMW of Anchorage. Because for everything that our favorite automaker will be unveiling over in Germany, we still have to wait until January for them to pull back the curtain on the BMW M4.

When most automakers want to debut their new models and technologies to the public, it's not unusual for them to make their way from one auto show to the next. It's the way of the industry, but not for our favorite automaker here at BMW of Anchorage. After all, if you want to stay ahead of the curve, it helps to think outside the box. So with the upcoming release of Gran Turismo 6, BMW is doing just that.

When looking for a luxury vehicle, residual value is important. What does it mean? Well, it's essentially figuring out a vehicle's worth after a certain period of time, with five years being the first benchmark publications like Edmunds.com looks at. In their latest report, the website has determined that the entire range of BMW 3 Series Coupe models hold their value over time.

Records are always made to be broken. BMW has had its share of accomplishments, setting the standard, and creating new ones. This month, BMW Group has reported its sales figures for June, and a new benchmark has been set.

When we say SUV, many of you already can envision what we're talking about. In 1999 BMW launched its first kind of utility vehicle, but while they do in fact have utility, the automaker wanted to focus on other aspects drivers can enjoy about these rides. That's where SAV comes in.

If you're in tune with the automotive world, you're surely reading the aptly named Automobile magazine. It's a widely respected publication, and at BMW of Anchorage, we consider it a must-read for anyone who fancies themselves gearheads like we do. Each year, Automobile puts out a list of "All-Stars" to highlight the standout vehicles they've encountered. As you probably suspected, if we're writing about it on our blog, you can bet that a BMW cracked the list.
